Kayla Ross-Jackson also known as "Raye Sylver" is a Toronto based Dancer, Choreographer, Model, Fitness Instructor & Yoga Instructor. Her passion for dance started from the mere age of three years old, mainly in the art of ballet. Growing up she realised that dance was more than just a hobby but rather a passion of hers and would strive to pursue it as a career. Throughout the years, she managed to obtain high honours in her RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) and BATD (British Association of Teachers Dancing) examinations. At the age of 13 she went on to study the art of dance and performance for 5 years at Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts, graduating successfully. It was at this time that she began to expand her love for dance into other genres ranging from modern, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary and also Latin based styles  She developed a huge appreciation for all types of dance, despite the genre. 

In recent years Raye has performed with different dance companies including becoming a member of the jazz dance, Broadway inspired performance troupe Lady Lace Dance, performing in two big productions entitled "Ode to Peace". She performed in several other events and shows as well, and is also now a dance choreographer and teacher instructing all ages across Toronto. Raye also went on to obtain a certificate with the Ontario Fitness Council in Fitness and Yoga and prior to that, volunteered teaching fitness and dance at the YMCA from the age of 18. Alongside with dance, Raye also teaches several types of group fitness classes to all ages, at several different community centres across the city. She is best known for her most popular class; Cardio Dance.

Raye's passionate for modeling started out as a curious interest in the industry, and took off full force at the age of 20 when she joined her first agency Victoria Page Management. She landed her first fashion shows with Natasha Sakuja Designs at FAT (Fashion Art Toronto) and other upcoming designers at OCAD University. Raye has worked with several designers and photographers, MUAs, and artists throughout her career and specializes in runway, print, editorial, beauty, and music videos. She's also worked with a few other agencies like Seven Model Management, and is now represented by EMA Models and Charliez Angelz Agnecy. Along with modeling, both freelance and agency-based, Raye has also worked very closely with the alternative brand Amplify Collective and has become an official ambassador of the company as well. She has starred in several performances and fashion events with the company alongside the company as well. Her neverending journey of dance, fitness and modeling continue onwards and she hopes to pursue even greater things with the several years of experience and creativity she has under her belt.
