My name is Kisha Ishomy Pembe. I was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and I arrived in Canada in 2006. I majored in Social sciences and Political Science at the University of Ottawa.

As an advisor for EducNation Consulting Inc., I have had the privilege of participating in many events and interacting with fascinating people in the education community. It is because I believe in the education of young people as a source of fulfillment and in the sharing of knowledge that I accepted to be a teacher, a personal and executive Coach for immigrants and young people. My passions are immigration, music, and youth education. My conferences give me the opportunity to satisfy them.

It has been two years since I entered the business world. Another passion that I discovered in search of my full potential. Today, I set up a distribution company that promotes the development of product brands by Afro-entrepreneurs.

I decided to join the Sister Sister Project to share my experience and learn from the youth. To make them aware of the issues related to immigration and the importance of this in daily lives. To use this platform for discussions and to reflect on two issues linked to the social and political context: the integration of immigrants and the processing of asylum applications. Immigration is of course an ongoing historical theme, but it also touches the daily life of every newcomer.

I look forward to meeting you and working with you.
